I sent this letter asking for a refund to Setanta today. I’ll look forward to receiving their reply.
What are my chances of getting any satisfaction? Low to non-existent I reckon - if I’ve got low expecations, I’m more likely to be pleasantly surprised.

The final nail in my Setanta Sports cancellation coffin - the Setanta Sports cancellation department cannot process a refund.
I telephoned to cancel on 30 January and they persuaded me to switch to 3 months at £5 instead.
Lo and behold, on 3 March, they charge me £9.99 again. Wild? I was livid.

Setanta doesn’t give its phone number on its Web site which is both annoying and cowardly. What have they got to hide? What have they got to be scared of - their own customers?

Last year I lost a bet on the golf course to my friend Alan which meant that I had to fork out for a Setanta subscription so we could watch Spurs play Villa (he’s a Spurs fan, I’m a Villa fan).

It’s dead easy to buy music concert tickets online. Sites like Seetickets and Ticketmaster are absolutely raking it in.
